Cojean

Bonjor bonjour bonjour! At last – I’ve found a wonderful French grab and go (or take a pew) eatery. Based on Ludgate Hill in St Paul’s, Cojean is a Parisian-born eatery with a heavy focus on fresh, healthy and organic foods.

The three words that they follow are:

NOURRIR feed
simple and fresh products, chosen for their nutritional qualities.

AIMER love
the well-being of their customers and their team is their number one priority.

DONNER give
10% of our profits go to their nourrir aimer donner foundation, created to fight poverty and to contribute to the sustainable development of the poorest communities worldwide.

I visited last week and was extremely impressed by the sheer variety of dairy-free, gluten-free and organic foods, including salads, sandwiches and soups; all of which are made and prepared on site. Their menu adapts according to the season and 40% of their products are suitableΒ for vegetarians. They even cater to vegans, so there really is something for everyone!

They also have a fantastic selection of juices and smoothies, including the ever popular coldpress juice. I chose an apple and ginger coldpress and it was absolutely delicious and so refreshing.

Cojean has a lot of seating indoors – and the eatery is particularly bright and airy thanks to its large windows. However, if you’re on the go or need to get back to your desk, all of Cojean’s products are available to grab-and-go, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

If you’re in the area, definitely pop your head in and say hello! But be warned, you won’t be leaving empty handed!
